Metallica has officially announced their long-rumored residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The series, titled Life Burns Faster, will kick off in October 2026 with eight shows scheduled for Oct. 1, 3, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and 31.
No Repeat Weekends
The band will continue its No Repeat Weekend tradition, first introduced during the M72 World Tour. Each Thursday and Saturday performance will feature completely different setlists, ensuring fans hear unique combinations of Metallica classics and deep cuts.
Tickets and Registration
Ticket registration is now open, with sales beginning March 6 at 1 p.m. ET. Fans can purchase single-night tickets or two-night packages for the No Repeat Weekends.
Reinventing the Live Experience
James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo promise a mix of live staples and surprises from their extensive catalog. Ulrich explained that the idea was sparked during U2’s Sphere residency in 2023. “About 12 seconds into the opening night of Sphere with U2, I thought, ‘We have to do this,’” he said. “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting.”
