Jennifer Aniston is sharing the secret to keeping her workouts energized — music.
Rock Classics on Rotation
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 57-year-old actress revealed that her current workout playlist is filled with rock legends. “I’m in a Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and Nirvana phase right now,” Aniston said. “Those are all really great.”
She admitted her taste shifts over time. “I definitely go through different phases,” she explained, noting that music is essential to her fitness routine. “Music is everything, so if a bad song comes on, I’ll say, ‘Ooh, can we skip it? It’s not working.’”
A Love for the ’80s
Beyond grunge rock, Aniston also enjoys 1980s hits. “I get Duran Duran and all those guys going,” she shared, highlighting her love for upbeat retro tracks that keep her moving.
Curated by Her Trainer
While Aniston knows what she likes, she admits she isn’t the most tech-savvy when it comes to playlists. Instead, she relies on her Pvolve trainer Dani Coleman to curate her music. “I’m not savvy that way, to be honest. Dani, she does curate mine. She makes it easy,” Aniston said.
Pvolve Partnership
The Morning Show star continues her partnership with Pvolve, launching Jen’s Express Series: Arms & Abs. The program features six new on-demand workouts designed to fit into busy schedules, each lasting under 15 minutes.
“I’m excited to get this series out there because this is something that Dani and I came up with, because my schedule is all over the place, as is everyone’s,” Aniston explained. “So we came up with this series of 15-minute exercises and workouts … that you can do while you’re on a Zoom or while you’re watching TV.”
She added that Pvolve has transformed her fitness routine. “I’m always excited to keep spreading the word of Pvolve, because it’s changed my life so much in terms of my physical body and health. I’m able to be consistent, and it’s now incorporated into my day, just like drinking water, and having breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
Lasting Results
According to Pvolve, the series underscores that even short, consistent sessions can deliver real, lasting results. With Aniston’s curated playlist and Coleman’s guidance, her workouts are as enjoyable as they are effective.
