Harry Styles brought the house down on Saturday Night Live with a hilarious St. Patrick’s Day–themed sketch that saw him channeling Lord of the Dance.
Double Duty on SNL
On March 14, Styles pulled double duty as both host and musical guest. The 32-year-old pop superstar appeared in a pre-recorded sketch titled She’s an Irish Dancer, which quickly became a fan favorite.
The Sketch
The bit begins with Styles crooning about partying in the VIP section with women who claim to be dancers. One of them, played by Chloe Fineman, pulls him aside for a private dance. Instead of the sultry performance he expects, she and her friends break into full-on Irish dancing, complete with traditional costumes and Riverdance-style choreography.
Caught off guard, Styles eventually joins in, donning a silky white shirt and black headband. Against a starry backdrop, he declares, “I’m about to go Lord of the Dance up in here,” before launching into an elaborate Irish-inspired routine. His friends join him on a foggy dancefloor, creating a surreal and comedic finale.
St. Patrick’s Day Spirit
The sketch ends with Styles flashing a wink and wishing viewers a “Happy St. Paddy’s Day.” The playful performance highlighted his comedic timing and willingness to embrace absurdity, earning laughs and applause from the audience.
Music and Monologue
Earlier in the show, Styles delivered a witty opening monologue reflecting on his time away from music. He also performed two tracks from his fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, showcasing both his humor and artistry in one memorable episode.
