Fans of Bridgerton are getting an early invitation back to Mayfair. Netflix has announced a special virtual premiere that will allow viewers to watch the first episode of Bridgerton Season 4 nearly two weeks before the season officially debuts. The streaming giant is hosting an exclusive online event tied to the Season 4 premiere, giving fans a chance to see Episode 1 early while enjoying behind-the-scenes access and interactive features.
Netflix’s Virtual ‘Premiere Masquerade’ Event
Netflix is inviting fans to virtually attend the Bridgerton Season 4 premiere from the historic Palais Brongniart on Wednesday, January 14. The event includes a live virtual screening of Episode 1, which will stream at 12:30 p.m. ET. According to Netflix’s Tudum platform, the screening is designed as a reward for the show’s most dedicated fans. The experience is being described as an immersive, community-focused event rather than a standard preview.
How to RSVP and What Fans Get
To participate, viewers must RSVP through Netflix Tudum by 12:30 a.m. ET on January 14 (or 9:30 p.m. PT on January 13). Only fans who register in advance will gain access to the early screening. In addition to watching the episode, attendees will receive virtual “red carpet” access from Paris, live chat features, interactive games, giveaways, and a surprise performance. Netflix says the event is meant to replicate the excitement of an in-person premiere from home.
When ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Officially Premieres
For fans who miss the early screening, Season 4 of Bridgerton will release in two parts on Netflix. Part 1 premieres January 29, followed by Part 2 on February 26. The split-season release continues Netflix’s recent strategy for its biggest titles, keeping audiences engaged over a longer period.
What Season 4 Is About
Based on Bridgerton, each season focuses on a different Bridgerton sibling. Season 4 centers on Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson. Benedict, the artistic and free-spirited second son, becomes enchanted by a mysterious “Lady in Silver” named Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, after meeting her at a masquerade ball hosted by his mother. The eight-episode season follows their romance as secrets and social divisions complicate their connection.
Season 4 Cast: Familiar Faces Return
Several fan-favorite characters return this season, including Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington, and Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown. With romance, intrigue, and lavish spectacle promised once again, Season 4 is shaping up to be one of the series’ most anticipated chapters.
